| Due to the approach of Tropical Storm Fay, and the considerable difficulty in forecasting its path and future strength, effective immediately Star Casualty prohibits binding of any new or additional Comprehensive or Collision coverage. We will lift the restriction when the storm has passed. We hope you all are safe and unimpacted by this storm. |

American Vehicle Insurance Company will honor new quotes that have already been approved in the TruePremium system prior to today and are ready for binding through end of business day, Monday July 7th, 2008.

R.A.C. FRAUD ALERT

All agents need to be aware that staged accident fraud rings are asking agents specifically if they represent REDLAND INSURANCE CO.
You need to carefully handle calls requesting coverage with a specific insurance company. They are likely to be associated with a future staged accident. If you receive a call of this nature please obtain as much information as possible from the caller and provide the information to your Underwriter or call our SIU unit immediately. DO NOT write a policy with Redland if you receive a call of this nature.
The current economic situation will continue to increase the number of fraudulent insurance claims. You need to protect your agency and the companies you represent by carefully dealing with first time customers without prior coverage or with unusual requests. Be especially careful if they are going to pay cash and have a friend helping select the desired policy coverage
DO NOT allow your agency to be a victim of Insurance Fraud.
